Hi! I am the Children's Minister here at Wildwood. I began working in children's ministry just shortly after my salvation experience in 2001. I was sixteen years old and just immediately fell in love with Jesus. That love seems to want to burst out of me for all the kids around me. This has been evident in my career outside of ministry as well, as I have been working in public education since 2006 and have been teaching middle school since 2021. I love all the kids and I want them to know it.
I am also married to the best man in the world, Scott. Some may say I am biased; I won't argue with that. We have three kids who keep us hopping: Judah, Bliss, and Justice. We are truly blessed.
My life verse is Ephesians 2:10, "For you are God's workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works which He prepared beforehand, that you should walk in them." I cling to this verse in good times and bad, knowing that He has ordained my steps and has a unique purpose for my life. Additionally, the word "workmanship" holds significant meaning. In the original language, it is "poema," which would translate more literally to the English word "poem." It is a lovely thought to ponder that God crafts each one of us with artistic intention, just as a poet stringing beautiful lines together until we are exactly as He wants us to be. We are so very loved.
